North Captiva Beach Update

September 27th, 2010 by admin

North Captiva has long been the beach retreat of families, couples, and adventurers. The private island is a little over 5 miles long and offers 2/3 of its land as mystical palm tree forests and wildlife refuge.

North Captiva Real Estate

August 8th, 2010 by admin

Owning and island, owning a property on an island, being part of a select group who love islands, brings together frontier spirit and adventurers to places less populated and all the more special for their isolation and solitude.

Island Real Estate in many ways is a preservation of an escape route from work-a-day-weeks and the sometimes speedy pace of regular life.  Choosing to own property on an island is like taking that step out of the rat race and right into the hammock swaying from the palm trees.

Bridge Free Islands

Stepping into the storybook is your first thought when you board the ferries taking you to bridge free island destinations.  Islands that you don’t have to fly into, or can’t, with commercial flights and remain quiet sleepy little villages just ready for you to explore and cherish.

Car Free and Green - North Captiva stays green with only electric golf carts allowed as vehicles on the island. Bicycles and foot power abound and blend in with the most popular mode of transport – the Club Car.

What you get - Miles of beaches, two thirds preserve, restaurants, resorts, ferry services, groceries delivered so you can just stay and play. Private Island status and surroundings.

What you don’t get – No Traffic, unless a gaggle of golf carts stops a main sandy path while everyone shoots the breeze. No parking meters at the beach.

Causeway Connected islands

Charm and cars, not everyone will take that step to live bridge free. Captiva residents and North Captiva residents share many common location interests. The islands are so similar and they used to me one big island at one point in the 1920s.

When you want to take that step for the bride free islands then more info is waiting for you at http://www.northcaptiva.net
